The Waitakere Area Schooling Improvement Programme

(WASIP) is a collaboration of 13 West Auckland schools.

Its main aims are:  

* To improve literacy levels among students

* To improve family and whanau involvement in supporting students' learning 

* To establish Professional Learning Groups to improve teaching practice
